CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Ok guys, I have to admit something.... When Murron first came onto CF, I was reading in a hurry and misread her name as 'Moron'... (that's what I get from reading too fast)... Anyways... that has been an internal joke ever since with me doing this
realizing I was the true moron...
Then Murron introduces her husband, the priest with lots of incense, named Thurifer who is writing in Latin... then Mrs Apron....
So I get this really silly mental image of a church with an archaic priest with a censer billowing incense so thick you can barely see, a lady on the organ with a dunce cap and one congregant dressed like Ethel the maid from the '50's TV show and trying to dust the pews throughout the whole service.
I guess it's time for me to try to get some sleep, huh?

I should point out that hubby isn't a priest (yet), sorry if I haven't been clear on that. I'll leave it to him to explain any further (right now he's playing his hand - bridge night here)

What I don't understand is why if someone reports an offender (a gross offender, I may add), why does the mods or admins tell the offender who reported them? This I don't understand at all. That really is not good.
