  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Hi! I just wanted to introduce myself. :blush: I am 17 years old, I will be 18 on February 7th, and I am from Arizona. I have lived here all of my life. I have an older sister and a younger Brother. I have 3 dogs, a cat, and my goldfish, Milton. I love to meet new people and I was so happy to find this forum! I have a hard time being able to talk about religion with my friends, so this will be good, I hope! I look forward to getting to know you! :wave:

Welcome to these boards, although I'm not really one to welcome you, seeing as how I just signed up 5 minutes ago :)
and I realized, you're 2 days older than me. odd to find someone with a birthday so close to mine so soon on these boards. or maybe I just find that funny because I haven't slept in 36 hours. I'm gonna go to bed.
