Hello, I am someone who has always been a spiritual person and have always studied religion in my own time. Despite looking through many beliefs I have always been monotheistic and have recently re connected with my belief in Christ. Needless to say I am a "truther" but I have my beliefs, I do my best to keep things rational. Here to connect to a Christian community as I am doing the same offline, in February when my local church re opens I will be attending my first service, that I willingly have gone too, really ever.

I have also stopped smoking, both tobacco and cannabis very recently and this has come with my accepting of Jesus and the lord into my life. I am and will always be a rational person and I do not like to pigeon hole too much what "is" and "isn't" Christian as there is always different interpretations and I respect that the path to God is an individual journey, but every day I pray that the right path is presented to me and I pray I choose the heavenly path in what I do.

I like discussion and I also have started a blog, the blog is new but my thoughts are really just what I have always thought about various subjects, finally writing them down in one place. Apart from all of that I play a lot instruments, I paint and I really enjoy model building. I am looking forward to meeting new people and am always happy to talk when I can.

I have found; in times of trouble; like we have with this CV-19; that listening to; and singing along to good Christian P&W music; can bring us closer to Jesus and His wonderful peace.

I agree, music is the language of the soul and helps connects us to Jesus when we do so with intent, I have in a way unconsciously enjoyed a lot of Christian music, James Brown for exampe when released from prison promised the judge he would sing for Jesus and he is one of my musical hero's, and a friend of mine recommended the Aretha Franklin gospel album (and the Kanye West Sunday service album of all people). And funny you mention that, I did just post a song in remembrance to Martin Luther King jr in the Christian music forum by the musician Dion. I also had a little look around and it is something I have recently been embracing and I will listen will certainty listen to more.
