Hello all...

My name is Renee, and I am new to this site. I am a single mom of four biological, and two grown step dd's. I'm hoping to create an online support for myself as honestly I am way to stretched thin to have much of a IRL support group. And I'm looking for a Christian community, as it seems to be faith and God's love is the only thing keeping me hanging on right now.

I'm not sure if I should be giving a description of myself, or my life, but needless to say I'm playing the single parent role, working too many hours to make ends meet, and I love my kids - they are an amazing gift from God!! I have three girls ages 14, 13, 11, and my youngest is my son who is 9.

I'm hoping to meet some wonderful people here, and look forward to talking to you all!!

I was a single mom to my sons for almost 3 1/2 years and am now remarried. I remember well, though, my days in the single parent trenches - so I still hang around here to offer encouragement and support.

Hi Faith and Hazel...thanks for the welcome. I'm having a tough morning, so I may decide to let it all hang out at some point today. Not a great morning by any stretch of the imagination. *shrug*

But I appreciate your kind words. I am definitely in need of some people who have been there, done that.

Letting it all hang out is just what this area is for so don't be shy. Everyone needs to be able to vent/get support. Parenting is difficult enough when we're not doing it on our own. Single parenting is even more challenging.

hi, I am a single mom also. I have a 19 and 12 yr old. The 12yr old is a girl and def hitting an unwelcome stage right now... sigh lol. Shes been so easy for 12 yrs what happened...... oh well shes still pretty great and time goes so fast I am just trying to enjoy as much of it as I can
