I was active on this forum years ago, but gave up when I realized that most Christians will never take Romans 12:2 seriously. I view modern culture as pure evil and I was seeking an alternative. The only real alternatives that I found are traditional Anabaptists (who aren't on this forum) and conservative Muslims.

But even these groups have issues. I finally realized that while good religion gives good guidance, this isn't enough. Someone with a good heart but a dysfunctional brain is not able to distinguish between good and evil. So the real problem with modern humanity is simply stupidity. Humanity has become too stupid to distinguish between good and evil. And religion cannot fix this.

So I plan to discuss ways of increasing intelligence to help Christians distinguish between good and evil. I guess the "Ethics & Morality" forum is the right place to do this.
