Do you have any preferances about height and weight for your SO?

Men do you mind dating a gal taller then yourself?

I am 5'11" so I have dated men shorter then me, and thats not a problem for me, if its not for them. I however don't like dating guys who weigh less then me... as when I hug them I feel as thought I could break them.

So any physical preferances that you would prefer?

i'm 6'4" so all the women i've been in a relationship with have been shorter than me, even when they are a little taller than the average height for women.

weight? i don't have a weight specific. i've dated extremely skinny girls, and girls that are overweight, average weight. all that matters to me is, i'm attracted to her and since i've dated various types of body types with weight, that shows i'm attracted to them all, so i can't say i have a preferation.

Well sometimes when I like people a lot.. friendly or romantically.. I just want to carry them in my pocket everywhere. Ultimately, that would lead me to say I would like them to be about 4" tall and weigh less than 2 lbs.

Aside from that.. there seem to be personality stereotypes that go with various height/weight combos, have you ever noticed that? My gut instinct is to respond based on the personality stereotypes, but I know that they are not all true.

That said..

It doesn't matter. he just has to have a big heart.

I like a woman to be shorter than me. Weight isn't all that important unless she weighs so much, she's confined to a bed. I want a woman I can chase, not one that's easy to catch.

I like both very tall girls and very short girls. I like dark girls and very white girls. I like asians, africans, hispanics, caucasians, and every other racial feature.

I like women with some fat on them, and I like women who are quite strong, and women who are waifish thin.

About the only things I don't like are women who are very obese (and I would be hesitant to date an obese woman even if I thought her attractive) and women who are at <10&#37; BF (basically the strange body builder women).

I'm 6'1" so I've never had the over height problem heh
As for pref, just not obese as far as that goes. I've had gf's that were very thin and gf's that were well to do'ish. Just any obesity thing is out there, needs to be able to be moderately active since I like the outdoors (nothing extreme). Lots of weekends in the mountains and deserts no doubt.

Right, everyone has their own strengths and weaknesses, and people who are sufficiently different complement each other's abilities. It would be lame being with someone who's a copy of your own self.

I wonder how identical twins get along, since they are physically the same (except for the belly button, that's always different), and they are raised in the same family.

That said I think I would have a hard time dating a girl taller then me. The same height I could do.

That said I don't think I would want to date a girl that was shorter then 5'.

My GF I think is about the right height standing at I think my neck level.

Weight doesn't tend to bother me unless its excessive in either direction. I don't want to date someone who's 400 pounds, but I don't want to date someone who looks like they just got out of a concentration camp.

Hmm... I am waiting for this thread to turn into a "BOYS ONLY LIKE GIRLS WHO ARE RAIL THIN AND SUPER MODEL BEAUTIFUL" debate.

While I wait for that to happen, I will say that I prefer a girl who is 5'0" to 5'6" and for her BMI to be between 18.5 and 24.9 which according to the National Institutes of Health (NIH) is in the "Normal Weight" category. At 5'0", 18.5 is 94.9 lbs and at 5'6", a BMI of 24.9 would be 154.5 lbs. I have dated girls outside of my preferred range, both height and weight wise, but those are my preferences.

I prefer a girl that is maybe an inch or few shorter than me, and is in the physician approved healthy weight range. I know the latter sounds odd, but they happen to have the look classified as a weight range well. Tall girls wanting to date me would make me feel awkward, as would someone who is less than 5 ft.

I like a guy who can make me feel safe, so definantly has to be taller and weigh more than me. I like when a guy is strong enough to pick me up too, i just like to feel safe and secure.

I lurve tall men. Most of the guys I have dated have been 6'2" or taller. All different body types, tho. Medium build, muscular, overweight. I don't care as much about their weight as their height. I'm 5'9" and love to wear heels. I've found that this intimidates a lot of guys in the 5'10" - 6' range. Besides, I like still being able to look UP at a guy if I'm wearing heels.

What kind of carry? Most guys should be strong enough to pick you up with a fireman's carry. Or are you talking more of like an in his arms underhand like you just got married type of carry?
