Heelllp with Internet Explorer!!!

I'm using Internet Exploer and whenever I open it an add always pops up on the top of every page when it's not supposed to be there. So I'll open it up, the page will load fine then two seconds later an add will pop up on top of the page and stay there, it's not a pop up add it's a banner add and I can't seem to get rid of it, it's on every page...

You need to retrace your steps....have you installed anything recently? What is the banner ad about, is it like for google or yahoo, or realplayer or something like that???

Unless you're using a free ISP like Juno or NetZero which has ads as part of the deal for free access (and I'm not sure they do that anymore), you have some adware installed somewhere. Run Spybot or Adaware on your machine, that should take care of it.

Yup, run ad aware and that should fix your problem unless you have some sort of freeware program running in the background.

Spybot. Save some time. Spybot captures and deletes more.

I had that problem on someone's computer the other day. It was a nightmare to get rid of it.. Look in your Add/Remove programs for a start.
