I bought a schoolbook in hebrew, but I had no one to teach me, so i was just looking around in the book. I also had a interactive hebrew course on CD, were i learnt to pronounce the alphabeth including those vovel dots. But now i have forgotten many letters as well. When I see them I can identify them, that's about it. Aleph, vet, gimel, daleth, heh, vav, zayin, chet, tet, yod, samech???. whatever... fill in the rest for me please!
I was planning to learn psalm 119 in hebrew. It is a beautiful psalm.
The course on CD included the context of diffrent words, it was a learn biblical hebrew course, but the school book just had glossaries. Melech, Gamal, Bush, Dam and so on. I can't remeber much from it.
It is the forign alphabeth that causes me to stumble. It was easier to learn German by just reading the bible in german and figure out what the words ment as I stumbled upon them. I always wanted to learn biblical hebrew. I'll take some time reading those links you posted, but i do not own winzip so i can not unzip them! I will look for a shareware for 30 days trail when i get time...
