Hebrew Surname

My biological father (i'm adopted, but I know him and my biological mother) has the last name Judd, and I read that it is of Hebrew origin. Would that in any way mean that I have Jewish ancestory or something? I know it is probably a stupid question, but i'm curious.

Its highly possible, last names were originally created on a certain attribute of the person usually (not always but that was the common practise). It certainly is of Jewish origin, and it would not be surprising in the least to find you have some Jewish blood in you.
