  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

Faith
Messianic
first fruits of zion is a pretty cool site. I think understanding our "hebrew roots" or really getting back to the way the messianic assembly was back in the day is key to understanding what the Messiah did for us, and also what the rest of the NT writers were talking about. Really until you can understand what Torah is, and what the real definition of sin is, you will never really fully understand your faith. When you understand Torah, suddenly your eyes are open to everything else, you see everything in a whole new light. We will no longer be worshiping "what we do not know" as Yahshua said to the woman at the well. He said, "We worship what we do know". He also said that if we do not understand Moshe, how could we believe His words?" (Yohanan 5:46)

So if we really want to understand the Messiah and His message, we have to go back to Torah. In fact a messianic teacher once told me the Tanakh (OT) has more information about the Messiah and His second return and purpose than the Messianic Text does.

You need to understand what sin truly is (a transgression of the law/torah) and understand the purpose of the Torah (guide to pleasing the Father) to understand the Messiah and the rest of the Messianic writers message (torah observance not lacking - not lacking belief, not forgetting the works the Father and Messiah has set before us - both in completion) (Matthew 23, specifically verse 23)

thats what i believe.
Blessings!

The Torah
Is a love letter from our loving Father

He knew we would mess up our lives

He said "Do these things it will go well for you"

We Blew it.

We still blow it.

Ha'Shem says "I shall send my son the Moshiach he shall pay the price for your sins. Do what he says for he does my will perfectly"

Maybe we should do that?

Moshiach says "Be Holy for I am Holy" That means go back to the Torah and do it like it says, like I do it. And it will go well for you and you will be blessed!

I am all for blessings
I like blessings
I love G-d

I think therefore I will do what Torah says to do.

Seems like a good deal to me! :)

Blessings
