Father God,

My father, I woke up this morning with such a heavy heart. I feel like every hurt from my past is on my heart today and it's making my mind go to a dark place of depression. I pray for peace of mind and reminders that You're in control.
I feel so lost.

Thinking of you.

I like to think about David sometimes and his relationship with Yahweh. Yeah he messed up but -

David and his men returned to camp and found their dwellings burnt and their wives and families gone, and the guys who just fought with him talked of killing him. Scripture says David wept until he couldn't, he was greatly distressed, But then he encouraged himself in the Lord. It doesn't say how.

Just trying to encourage you. Yahweh is always there for you.
