What do you guys think we will be doing in Heaven for all of eternity?

CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

For the creation waits with eager longing for the revealing of the sons of God. -Romans 8:19
For the creation was subjected to futility, not willingly, but because of him who subjected it, in hope -Romans 8:20
that the creation itself will be set free from its bondage to corruption and obtain the freedom of the glory of the children of God. -Romans 8:21
As children of God, we will see the creations set free from the bondage to corruption; of course, we do not only see but many more things we can do in Christ Jesus.

I think we often have this idea of being a kind of ghost-like choir member, or just floating around on clouds for all eternity, but that's not very accurate. It's good to remember that Adam was created for a purpose, being God's caretaker on earth, which is both a tremendous gift and responsibility.
God designed Adam to work. That doesn't sound very appealing to our ears, but work in a pre-fall sense is a good, untiring, and a joyful thing. When the cosmos is restored, the joy of work will also be recovered. Scriptures say that we are to rule, which means to manage the new creation. We don't know what the creation will look or function like exactly, but it will be glorious and good!

We won't be in the current heaven for eternity ... God is going to re-create the heavens and the earth and the meek inherit it. After His plan is completed entirely, He will reside on the new earth with us .... now one can say that will be heaven on earth ... and that's fine.
He is going to restore all things .... all things .... without sin in the new world and for eternity .... a restoration of Eden so to speak .... before the fall.
