No, I do not. I think there was a time, before the cannon of Scripture was complete. But now that we have the Scripture, there is no longer any need for visions and prophecies.

What is your view on people like Dean Braxton and Mary X Baxter?

I never heard of them, so I have no opinion.
They have an inordinate amount of 'x's in their names. That's all I got as far as opinion goes.

Do you think if Heaven isnt infinite, there is something past it?
I have no idea. I don't know if there is anything past Heaven, or if Heaven is infinite. I haven't been yet.

I honestly think (or hope) that Heaven isn't just one place- but many. Many universes and all Heaven in different variations. I think we could go to them, maybe the snow covered variation for a few thousand years, then the tropical variation for a few thousand more, then the gentle English pastoral one. Since God is omnipresent, He would be in each place at once. Of course there is no time in Heaven. I say a few thousand years, since we don't understand what timelessness means.

Isn't Heaven temporary, like other users posted?

What makes you think that?
I don't know. There's no Bible verse to support it, but there is going to be a new Heaven as well as a new Earth. I kind of think we'll be traveling all over the universe(s). It's my own concept, I suppose.

It is what I hope, but whatever eternity is, it will be more wonderful than we can possibly ever guess.

Paul couldnt even find the words to describe Heaven. Do you think it is ethereal looking? If it had scenery like on earth it could be described.

I don't know. So much is speculation. He was caught up to the third Heaven, so I wonder what the first and second are? And if there are many different places that are all Heaven? What do you think?

Maybe parts are realistic, maybe parts are not. In our glorified bodies, maybe we can see wavelengths of light that we are unable to see here. It might be kind of trippy in that way. I think someone else posted that point about the wavelengths of light. We'll hear sounds we can't hear here too, I think.

It is all speculation, of course.

Maybe Paul could not describe it because it was too wonderful. Not that it defied description, but that it was so wonderful, there are no words. Maybe he did see snow covered mountains, but they were so far beyond the ones here, he could not describe them.

Do you think the Heavenly language cant be heard by our ears? I was thinking recently on whether or not the names of God and the various angels in the Bible could originate from Heaven.

Maybe. We can't hear the music of the spheres without instruments, but they are there.

It might be sensory overload in Heaven- the sights and sounds, maybe smells, touch all these things that are blunted here. Maybe in Heaven we can hear the sounds of every blade of grass and feel every blade of grass, I don't know.

Maybe we will communicate telepathically in Heaven and not need to speak.

I hope I don't sound too much like a flake. I realize this is not Biblical and all my own speculation, which is not really profitable to anyone but myself.

Nothing is impossible with God.
He is not bound by the laws of physics, since He created them. The physical laws we know here on Earth may not have any bearing at all on Heaven. I would be surprised if they did apply to Heaven.
While I understand you sentiment, it is not true. The creation is finite. God alone is infinite. God's Word can not be broken, so when He created the physical laws, those laws are his word. He can create other laws, aerodynamics, for example, springs off of gravity so instead of falling we have flight. Nonetheless, gravity remains.

Heaven and Hell are not separate from the creation. The cosmos is an integrated creation. Jesus is at the right hand of God in heaven, but then, since he is in our hearts, and we in him, so, too, are we at the right hand of God in heaven. Our spirits that have been born again are in heaven already, yet our bodies are on the Earth.

are you referring to size? I've read Dean Braxton's book and he described God as vast, but not infinite in size.

Do you think time exists beyond measurement of days and months and years?

What do you think of those who say time is an illusion?
I don't know. Your guess is as good as mine about all of this. Maybe it is an illusion. This world is the shadow and Eternity the real deal. I think that's probably closer to the mark, anyway. What do we spend here? 100 years at the most. Eternity is forever. It's more real than Earth is.

My speculations are no more valid than yours or anyone's. What do you think? Do you think time is an illusion?
