A man passed on and approached the gates of heaven. He was met there by his guardian angel. "Welcome home" said the angel. " Now that you're here you have an appointment with the big guy himself. You can still pray to him any time you want, but as a new arrival you actually get to meet him face to face for a couple of minutes. But be breif, he's very busy you know"
The man walked down the golden street to the throne room and approached God. "Welcome home my son, i've missed you." said God.
"Missed me" said the man, I can understand why ! You never answered my prayers. I wonder if you were ever with me at all."
"Whatever do you mean?" God replied.
" Well, for 30 years day and night I prayed that you would let me win the lottery. Now I know it was kind of worldly but you must have known that I would have done some good with the winnings....I mean Jesus said that you answer prayers and that faith the size of a mustard seed could move mountains. I prayed, and I had absolute faith that you would come through for me in your own time. Yet now here I am having never won the lottery. Whats the deal ?"
God smiled, and nodded understandingly at the man. "My son, I heard your prayers everyday, I even granted your prayers having seen your faith and intentions. But just once you had to have bought a lottery ticket ![/B]
