Okay this is something I have been trying to figure out and it seems many people have differant or conflicting answers.

So heaven is God's Kingdom and Hell is Satan's kindgdom. Hell is nothing more then a place where God is not there but my main question is hell actual...like suffering.

When we think hell especially in movies we think fire and torture and endless pain and such but is hell really little more then a seperate kingdom from God. I have heard the claim that hell is where there is no god so would an athiest or agnostic feel pretty much the same in hell or is it really that torturing firey pit many people believe it to be. I would like this to be cleared up please because I am so confused.

Hell is a place of eternal suffering. Forever and ever.
God's Presence will not be there.

I'm not sure if I would describe hell as Satan's Kingdom.
Hell was created by God...as a place He will send Satan to....
and all the people who choose to suffer the eternal consequences of their sin.

And.... As a Child of the Living God, I am in God's Kingdom already. Here on Earth. His Kingdom is in Heaven, too !

How can I kill this defeaning emptiness?
How can I kill this deafening void?
Why will this hopelessness never leave my mind?
I live in constant torture.
Breathing but dead inside.
How to find a way to kill this.
And put it underground.

Why did you do this to me!?
Why can't I do anything!?
Why can't I feel a thing!?
Why is this emptyness in me!?

Why
I just ask you why!?

Jakkaru.... I love this.
I can tell you "Why?"

God created us to be in fellowship with Him !
Sin separates us from God.
There is a hole.
A pit.

Feel it?
The solution is knowing the Living God.
His Son, Jesus....
and what Jesus did for you !

When you have your sin forgiven, the emptyness will begin to go away !

Glad you like it although you took it out of context abit. I don't have emotions. I have what my doctor call's Schizoid Syndrome so I have no idea what love or anger or happiness really feel like and I have this permanent emptiness inside me, although it's always been there I can feel the emptiness. Basically I wrote that poem to try and reflect that. Once again though I am glad you like my poem.

Anyway, TexasGirl06, athiest live without God and live in their sins so why would hell feel differant to them then earth does?

Great Question.

You see, here on earth, we are cradled by Gods Creation, we are surrounds by his work and his presence, so even if we reject him, he is still with us, around us, and embracing us, with his presence, love, and support.

When we Die, and we have returned Gods Love and Embrace, God makes full his Love and Embrace open to us though the domain of Heaven.

If we have rejected God, God simply rejects us, and leaves us outside Heaven to be alone, with nothing.

The realization that we have Lost Heaven, we have lost being made whole and complete, that all of our problems, and our faulting and failures will be eased from us, and that we will no remain as the humans we were, with our greed, envy, hate, and sin, but now left to the void, not even to have the light of God as our guide, we are left alone in our sins. That is Hell.

If it was Fire and Brimstone and all that, then it is still or would still be Gods Creation, as such, God would in effect be there.

So no, there will be no pitchforks, or what have you in Hell, just being left in Hell is the torment, not the arrival.

I hope I have answered this question for you.

God Bless

Because this is not hell.... here on Earth.

And if I might add...
I did not come to know the Lord Jesus....
because I was afraid of Hell.

I came because of Love.
It was the Love that drove me...
not being scared that I might go to Hell.

Please do not "blame" your emptyness on your psychological issues. And...I know the psych stuff is legitimate.
Just don't sell yourself short.

I don't but it seems validate. It feels weird saying I have schizoid becuae doctors told me that's what I have, but it;s normal for me so it feels weird to say I have something, but obviously other's feel something I don't so *shrugs*

Greant answer Key. Thank you for your contribution. So basically, hell is being the same as your are now, but knowing there was something better and you permently messed up?

One last question, where does Satan come into that? Is he just there or does he do anything or what exactly?

Mostly, Yes, but as I would grasp it, we will also be removed from the Cradle of Gods Creation.

One last question, where does Satan come into that? Is he just there or does he do anything or what exactly?

Satan, is not directly in "hell" currently, Satan is here on Earth, and what Satan's desire is, is that others share in his fate, that is to be denied Heaven. It is along the lines that Misery loves company, as such, since we can receive Heaven though the Salvation of Christ, and Satan can not, Satan desires that we give up, or loose our place in Heaven.

I hope I have answered this question for you.

A bible study about Lucifer might be helpful for you, http://www.amazingfacts.org/items/storacle_lessons.asp the one called "The Rebellious Prince" goes over verses about Satan, click Watch to watch it. I had some questions about that too, confusing things going on, you can also e-mail this ministry and they will answer your bible questions if you have more.

this link also has a bible study about hell if you'd like to see more, the one called "Cities of Ash". Click Watch on these to see a preacher go over the lesson, it seems better than just reading them. and remember keep seeking Truth, it is worth finding.
