So let's say I start an ant farm and choose some ants to keep in great conditions and others to rip the legs off of and burn with a magnifying glass.

What does that say about me?

First of all, it says I'm an evil, sadistic pervert that enjoys the suffering of sentient beings.

Secondly it says that my 'glory', 'enjoyment' and 'sovreignty' are so pathetic that I have to act them out in a sphere much below my own on beings much below me in a lifetime much shorter than mine.

If he's so great, why does he have to prove it? Why is he so insecure that he has to create a whole universe to 'show his glory'?

God is clearly an evil, pathetic loser. Like the kid who can't make any friends of his own age or in his own league so tries to convince younger kids that he's cool. I guess the other gods make fun of him in the playground so he has to create things and have power over them just to make him feel good.

Interesting that his psychological profile is much the same as a bully, wifebeater, rapist or mass murderer.

I laugh in the face of your pathetic excuse for a god, and will continue to do so even if he tries to put me in hell. No suffering could be worse than prostrating myself before that loser.

I've read through all 5 pages of this thread and...and...I thought it was going to be SOF's attack on Pagans. Because we ALL know Pagans are the worst of the heathen lot.

I mean... we recognize MORE than one deity, we use Tarot cards and scrying mirrors, we play with Weapons like athames and magick wands, we burn incense and candles, and wear pentacles. Some of us even do our religious rituals IN THE NUDE and dance around fires in the woods *gasp* We also practice magick and cast spells.

The Christian God in my opinion is a reflection of society at large..In Human Society there's people who love others and reach out to help people, there's people who are sort of apethetic and don't really care about others, and there's people who actively seek to harm anyone different from them and who feel alot of hatered and anger. And some people manifest a combination of these emtions and actions in their lifetime. The Christian God, in my view, is a mixture of all of these when you look at the conflicting bible passages, because some scripture says he's loving while other's says he's vengeful, and lots of stuff in between.

Oh, I prefer to be called a Pagan as well. OTOH, I know that if I (and others) embrace the term "heathen" it'll get "certain people" all riled up because they'll realize *I* don't get offended to the nth degree the way that they do over every stinking little thing it seems, judging from the PMs I've been receiving.
