SoF, if you're interpretation of scripture is correct, why did God give anyone this mortal life? Isn't this life completely redundant if where we wind up afterward is a foregone conclusion? Did God create the mortal life so that those that aren't among his select will suffer that much more when the reach their inevitable destination?

That's my point, if your right, then the only possible purpose of this life is to increase the suffering of those eventually doomed to hell. Even if we have a purpose other then that, it's moot considering at the end, those who God chooses go to heaven and those who God didn't burn for eternity. Any possible purpose we may have served during life is rendered pointless because in the end, everything is predetermined.

Why does God create people for the sole purpose of burning in hell for eternity? Why would a God hate a mortal? What could any mortal possibly do to hurt God?

By your own admission and evidenced by the scriptures you quoted, I will be going to hell when I die and theres not a damn thing I can do about it. Why was I created then?

You simply have to stop posting these kinds of threads. You are not gaining one iota of respect from non-christians here, especially when you post scripture about your god such as this. If your intent is to make enemies here, then by all means continue on. If you are trying to win followers for christ, you may want to modify your approach.

Obviously his intent isn't to win followers to Christ, as he has explicitly stated we and he have no say in the matter. I suspect he simply gets a chubby thinking he's going to heaven and were all going to hell.
