Also, I’ve heard there’s a tornado watch, that’s kind of scary.

At work, some people snapped at me. I had a line of people, some of them may have just spoken loudly because I couldn’t hear them well but some people seemed less unintentionally aggressive and they upset me. I didn’t want to tell my manager, but my dad is angry now that someone was mean and now he wants me to talk to the manager(s). I would be really uncomfortable doing this and there is the chance I could cry to my manager(s). Please pray that I will be able to forgive them and be forgiven for my sins, and that everything will go smoothly. Please pray that everyone (me, parents, customers who upset me) will be forgiving and understanding.

Handling customers can be tricky kid. Some can be mean, and some are just impatient. I used to face this at Kroger. Maybe, some day you will become the Manager. Hunker down in the basement and stay safe from the Tornado. God bless.

I don’t have a basement. I don’t know if I’d want to be manager either, that takes cross-training and involves a lot more pressure and responsibility.

Update of sorts: My dad ended up saying it was my choice about talking to the managers. I’m kind of stressed about school and feeling pretty disconnected from things today. Still, thank you all for your prayers.

Father, I pray that DeerGlow will learn to put on Your whole armor before going to work, as a habit each morning, so that these kind of situations will not bother her so much. May she learn to walk in the Spirit, and have her mind filled with the memory of Your Word, so that this kind of situation just isn't that important enough to bother her. May she become strong in the Spirit, strong in the faith, strong in the knowledge of You and Your Word, and be a victorious overcomer in these kinds of life situations. May 1 Peter 3:15 be something that is relevant to her life, because people notice that she handles life's stresses well. May she find that a close relationship through the day with You has great effect in dealing with the negativities in life. Amen.
