Hearts in Atlantis

Found this one on Netflix a few months back and it instantly became a favorite of mine. If you haven't seen it I highly recommend especially if you enjoy films revolving around the lives of children (i.e. Stand by Me, The Sandlot). It's based off a short Stephen King story.

Actually, it's a book of short stories interconnected. Don't be like me and read it. It's... actually pretty horrible compared to the movie.

I actually did read it. Well, just the Low Men story that the movie is based on. I enjoyed it although a little surprised with the sci-fi angle. There were things in the story I liked better than the movie and vice versa. I liked the movie's take on the Low Men better. I also read the final story involving the kids meeting up as adults.
