Hey has anyone here gone hiking in Heart's Content? It is an old growth area of the Allegheny National Forest in Pennsylvania, it was never logged so most of the trees are over 300 years old, it is a beautiful place! That is what Pennsylvania looked like when the pilgrims landed hundreds of years ago! I love it there! It is a very popular hiking and camping destination, back during COVID lots of people went up there in RVs and stayed there to ride out the virus there. Heart's Content is very beloved by the locals, there were several times over the years that logging companies had plans on logging it but the locals were up in arms about it and put a stop to it! They have a chain of command set up for a Heart's Content defense force and if they were ever about to log Heart's Content they would activate the force and get their guns and go up there and stop the logging by force!
