  • John 14: 1 Don't let your hearts be trouble. Trust in God, and trust also in me (Jesus). 2 There is more than enough room in my Father's home.
When our hearts are troubled - be that from an logical, emotional, spiritual set back - we should express the logical, emotional, spiritual set back, so we are able to express them verbally and have a voice to what is bothering us to someone who is willing to listen.
  1. If we trust in God and trust also in Jesus, because of the love they show and that fact that they care about us too when we are going through these logical, emotional, and spiritual setbacks.
  2. The bible expresses we should cast our anxiety to God because He cares for us.
  • 1 Peter 5:7 Give all your worries and cares to God, for he cares about you.

  • Philippians 4:6 Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done.
When we are going through setbacks these setbacks can come from a variety of situations - death of a family member, loss of a house that burnt down, a flat tire in the middle of nowhere, a friend wanting nothing more to do with you, parenting abuse, trauma, doubt that God will take care of you, thoughts of worthlessness, that you aren't worthy of being loved, drug addictions, sexual addictions, poor self-image, and a myriad of other problems.
  1. When experience things like this even as christian believers suffering can be seen in many different ways as stated above.
  2. An immense logical, emotional, spiritual experience, will play out for us when these times come in our life, frustration, anger, sadness, depression, pain, agony, loss of hope, anything negative you can think of and as believers or as humans in general we should try to learn from our mistakes, and experiences so that we can be better equipped when the time may start to come up again and we are able to become more self aware of the problems.
  • 1 Corinthians 13:13 Three things will last forever—faith, hope, and love—and the greatest of these is love.
Having faith and trusting God through our experiences and allowing ourselves to keep holding on to the Lord Jesus - There will always be hope from this faith when we are facing dark times and rough spots in life we can remember that God is always there because He cares and desires us to talk to Him about the troubles we are going through.
  1. Because of Love, God is love. God loves us and because of his kindness that causes others to turn to Him, the spirit that indwells us as believers causes us to love, have compassion, mercy, tenderheartedness, towards all.
  2. The greatest of faith and hope is Love, that indicates acceptance, understanding and mercy.
  3. When we pray about everything and talk to God, and give thanks to Him for all the things He has done in our lives.
  • Philippians 4:7 Then you will experience God’s peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus.
Therefore the more we ask, talk, seek, and make choices to trust in God, and Jesus the
more peace that will come over us as we keep seeking and having a relationship with our Father, and His only begotten Son Jesus the Lord and Savior.
It's the type of peace from God we can not understand fully, but only explain from our own experience, and this peace, of God, will guard your heart and minds as we choose to live in Christ Jesus.

When you are worried and troubled in your heart in tough times seek someone to talk to but most of all look to Jesus Christ, and His Father in heaven for some peace in your life that will guard your heart.
