  6. We are no longer allowing posts or threads that deny the existence of Covid-19. Members have lost loved ones to this virus and are grieving. As a Christian site, we do not need to add to the pain of the loss by allowing posts that deny the existence of the virus that killed their loved one. Future post denying the Covid-19 existence, calling it a hoax, will be addressed via the warning system.

I am beyond disturbed by the ugliness humans can inflict on each other. I saw a horrible story about a sweet little 5 yr old blind boy in St Louis who was beaten to death by his father. And the mother was at home with their newborn son when it happened. Why on heaven and earth does this inhumanity happen? And then after googling the father's name to find out more on the story, i saw a website with the most ugly racist stuff ever. Good grief how evil can people be? I wish i could do something, but i'm a white 70 yr old with some minor health issues. I thought white privilege wasn't accurate, but i can see that blacks don't have an even playing field. It's better but still not even
What can be done? Does this country need to really invest in opportunity and mental health for underprivileged communities. That was an evil act killing that baby, but if things had been different for the father maybe this could have been avoided.
Thank you for letting me rant.

I love the concern that you show for others. Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled.
God's mercies are from everlasting unto everlasting. There's hope and salvation for everyone, even the saddest people who have the most guilt. The gospel is good news for everyone, and it wouldn't be good news if it didn't overcome the bad.

I'm sure there are a number of reasons this happened. This little boy fell through the cracks of society

I think we should be investing more in biblical teaching. In making sure that the pastors, street preachers, and missionaries we send out are not only teaching the bible but also living a life of righteousness filled with the Spirit. From there, we then need to have these leaders to encourage and motivate their audiences to live righteous lives pleasing to God. They will need to teach holiness and fear of God. They will need to model this before their congregation. Then once the congregation gets this they will need to show it to those around them and practice it themselves, keeping themselves from evil...Hopefully, this will start to impact small communities and eventually move on to bigger communities.

We can spend all the money on social reform, mental health...But when you have no proper foundation...whats the point. Today's generation have no fear of God, and so have no moral grounds to be tethered to. We need our church leaders to start leading us to the battle of righteousnesses. And we ourselves need to fight the battle too. Until then...all the lights in america will slowly start to turn off we we keep going the way that we are....You will then begin to see more of what we have seen in 2020...This year has shown a lot of lack of fear of God.

So should we blame someone other than the father for the fathers actions and relieve him of all responsibility?

No, the father is responsible for the death of the little boy. And most importantly, he is accountable to God.
