My grandfather had a heart attck today. Thay are going to do surgery on him in a couple of days. Said 2 of his arteries were totaly blocked and couldn't be unblocked so they are gona have to do I think a bypass it was. Pray for him.

In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Yeah I just found out it is going to be 3 to 5 bypasses. Surgery is in the morning at around 6.

Well they did the surgery...now they say is the critical time. They did 3 bypasses. They told us that what he had WAS a massive heart attack. Also they say the left half of his heart isn't working now. I really dont know what all that means...but would really like everyone to pray for him today.

I wanted to thank everyone for their prayers for my grandfather. He is doing much better. They had to stop his heart and restart it to get it beating right again and his lung was collapsing so they had to fix that too. But he is out of intensive care and doing a lot better. Thank you all.
