Heart Palpitations

Anyone have them? I seem to have them ALL the time! I just got out of the hospital for a bad kidney infection but my heartrate has been very high. The doctors said not to worry and it was because I was anxious but I also heard this could be a side effect from pregnancy? I'm 14 weeks today and they really scare me. I've also been having headaches out of no where. Again, the doctors told me not to worry but I'm freaking out!

I've been having what feel like palpatations. I've also read that they are normal so I'm not worrying about them.

What do they feel like?
I had this weird thing with my last pregnancy...like my heart would beat really, really hard, and I could feel it in the chest and belly and stuff. Har to explain. I have heard of a lot of women who have gotten them....

I had some heart palpitations when I was pregnant. I read that it can be caused by the increase in blood volume that comes with pregnancy.

Yes, blood volume and hormones. I still get the "racing heart" thing every once in awhile from hormone fluctuations. Deep, slow, counted breathing can really help slow the heart back to normal.
