Hi! Does any one get Heart Flutters? I can feel like a rapid fluttering sometimes for less then 30 seconds and it goes away. This is happening more and more all the time.

The General Mental Health Forum is now a Read Only Forum. Heart Flutters

A heart flutter, or atrial flutter is a form of tachycardia ( fast heart rate). It's typically due to some change in the electrical pulse in the right atrium. You should definately consult your doctor about it if it continues.

happened to me when I got up today.. i was diagnosed with GERD on Thurs but am going back to the doctor on thurs.

Really???? I've been wanted to get checked for that too. I wonder if that could be causing the flutters (???)

Maybe Its Just Am Murmur Of Some Such. It Could Be A Benign Heart Affect. Check It Out. Until You Do God Bless And Watch Over You.

they can run an ekg fairly quickly... fairly painless , except for little sticky circles that wires are attached to pull off hair when removed... more of a "man thing" than for laidies ...
usually coverd by insurace , as out patient, family doctor...it is better to find out it is nothing , then to wind up in the ER , like I did ....smoking, overweight.... wound up with open heart surgery 4 months ago... doing quite well thusfar..
