Health Issues

I've have some potentially serious health problems and I seem to keep running into dead ends with doctors. I have gotten diagnosis after diagnosis and treatment after treatment, but things seem to be getting worse instead of better. Doctors kind of throw their hands up at me and say, "I don't know". Aside from feeling yucky quite often, it is extremely frustrating and I would greatly appreciate it if you guys would remember me in your prayers. I know I'm being very vague with details, because there is just so much going on with my body right now it is hard to explain everything. Feel free to PM me if you want a better explanation of what is going on, I certainly don't mind talking about it, but otherwise, God knows the struggle!

Thanks, Ken...I'm actually trying to get in with a new doctor within the next few weeks...hopefully the new one will have some new insight. I will post as soon as I know something.

Still stumped, Ken. I saw one of my doctors a few weeks ago who suggested doing another surgery that has no guarantees - it was actually this surgery that has (IMHO) caused all of my health problems - a back surgery that was imperative to prevent further permanent nerve damage to my legs. I have some nerve damage that is irreversible, but it is minor compared to what it would have been without the surgery. He wants to go back in and add more "hardware" around my spine to give it more stability. As of right now, I don't think that I will be having the surgery anytime soon. I feel as though the risks outweigh the benefits at this point and will not do anything to help the other problems that I feel as though the first surgery created. I'm still praying about it. Doc said that the surgery wasn't crucial or urgent, and he would be okay with the decision to not do it, or postpone it indefinitely, but that he would like to see me with more stability in my spine than I currently have.

Other than that, things are the same. The other doctors just look at me with question marks in their eyes. I am talking with a new doctor right now and hope to get an appointment with them, but it's a lot easier said than done at this point.
