Healing

Matthew 4 verse 24: "And his fame went throughout all Syria: and they brought unto him all sick people that were taken with divers diseases and torments, and those which were possessed with devils, and those which were lunatick, and those that had the palsy; and he healed them."

Hospitals doors are closed because Jesus came on the scene and healed everyone. Insurance companies go broke because people are healed by Jesus. Lawyers are incensed because they have no doctors or hospitals to sue. The whole world is in a state of uproar because the economy is turned upside down...drug companies are folding by the hour. Moms and Dads are rejoicing because they no longer have sick or "crazy" kids.

Jesus told his followers, even the disciples, that they too could heal the sick: Acts 5 verse 16 " There came also a multitude out of the cities round about unto Jerusalem, bringing sick folks, and them which were vexed with unclean spirits: and they were healed every one."

Can you just imagine if this was to happen today? I know Jesus still heals, and I know that He still answers prayers. Let us all pray that He would come with healing in His wings. Malachi 4 verse 2 "But unto you that fear my name shall the Sun of righteousness arise with healing in his wings; and ye shall go forth, and grow up as calves of the stall. "

Amen, brother.
What would this world focus on doing if all of their reasons for making money were over? Instead of just loving Jesus for Who He is and desiring HIM, they are angry due to His goodness toward others.

It reminds me of when Jesus healed the "demoniac" and sent the demons into the pigs and the men herding those pigs asked Jesus "to leave"! Thier lively-hood and means of making money just ran over the cliff!

How sad that they MISSED Him for love of job/money and temporary earthly things. IT'S STILL HAPPENING TODAY.
