  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I need healing from dealing with emotional wounds that have affected me for the past 9 years. A Family Court Judge had ordered me to attend a program that was horrible and she humiliated me in public and was very nasty to me. As a result, it has affected my self-esteem and dignity. It has caused me to think less of myself as a person and make bad decisions such as spending money unnecessarily.

It has been hard to shake it off and caused me to be depressed. There have been times that I nearly cried I public and had to control myself. I need healing from that situation, forgive those who have hurt me, and move on with my life. I am forgiving for myself, not for them.

Everyone keep me in your prayers. :prayer:

Will certainly pray.

No matter where you go God is looking at your heart. I believe he sees your heart as good. And as the bible says "who can bring a charge against Gods elect". Sure words can hurt, some times they are crule, yet God whants you to know that He does not treat you in the way man does. Sure he does not want us to act unwisely, yet he is gracious and compassionate.

Thank you. I no longer want to carry that baggage with me. It has dragged me down for 9 years. I am ready to move on with my life.

I too, had to let go and forgive. I did a 3 day fast and got emotional healing a short time afterwards- may God grant you healing!!:crossrc::thumbsup:

Read my other posts on this thread about where you stand with Christ.
You are what you believe. You do what you believe.
If you are bitter about what happened to you, then your belief is that bitterness is the appropriate way of dealing with hurt and anger.
But if you believe that forgiveness is the way to go,then you will start praying for those who have humiliated and hurt you.

AS A REPRESENTATIVE OF JESUS CHRIST I PRONOUNCE YOU TOTALLY HEALED IN HIS NAME!!!

Receive it and walk in the freedom that Christ gives you.
Believe what the Bible says about you, rather than your feelings.

It serves you absolutely no purpose to keep holding unto hurts others have inflicted upon you. Emotional healing take time, but as you're applying the Word of God in your life by letting it determine your response to anything painful you're going through, you'll be healed progressively. You have to allow the death of Christ on the cross to become the core foundation of your life. It's God's will that you live a completely liberated, redeemed, and fulfilled life through His Son. I pray that in the mighty name of Jesus that you're set free from what you're going through.
