In the world of gaming, if a further anonymity is desired, there are voice changers that can be used for select systems. In using these, be sure that it does not make your voice unintelligible to those you're playing with. Otherwise you'd best not talk at all. Nothing's asking for mute-ation more than an artificial voice speaking gibberish.

Why would someone want to use one of these unless they were trying to hide something? I'm not talking anonymity, but more like trying to sound like an adult when you're really 12?
