Head wound

In Revelation 13:3 we read; “And I saw one of his heads as it were wounded to death; and his deadly wound was healed: and all the world wondered after the beast.”
This wound received by the one head out of the 7 heads on the worldly beast was announced by the sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God.

This sword wound is shown here in Revelation 13:14; “And deceives them that dwell on the earth by the means of those miracles which he had power to do in the sight of the beast; saying to them that dwell on the earth, that they should make an image to the beast, which had the wound by a sword, and did live.” Just as Jesus also declared the sending of the sword in Matthew 10:34;”Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword.”

In Ezekiel we are given a clue that seems to speak of the land of Israel as the one being brought back from the sword. Ezekiel 38:8; “After many days thou shalt be visited: in the latter years thou shalt come into the land that is brought back from the sword, and is gathered out of many people, against the mountains of Israel, which have been always waste: but it is brought forth out of the nations, and they shall dwell safely all of them.”


So this one head was dead, and did live, which also speaks of the one of the 7, shown here in Revelation 17:8; “The beast that thou saw was, and is not; and shall ascend out of the bottomless pit, and go into perdition: and they that dwell on the earth shall wonder, whose names were not written in the book of life from the foundation of the world, when they behold the beast that was, and is not, and yet is.

By scripture let us explore just who this one head (kingdom nation) is, and also look at the meaning of the head wound given to many of that Nation. Which head wound also would be healed, which to me symbolically speaks of the resurrection of Israel as that one head (or Nation) to come in the last days, which also is given as a sign to the Nations.

This to me also speaks of the profane prince (Prince of this world) which would be given power over this darkened world and Israel for a time as is also shown here in Ezekiel 21:25 ; “And thou, profane wicked prince of Israel, whose day is come, when iniquity shall have an end,” Whom the Lord shall also consume with the Spirit of His mouth. (double edged sword)


First let’s get a symbolic picture of the 7 heads(kingdoms) shown here in Deuteronomy 7:1; “When the LORD thy God shall bring thee into the land whither thou goest to possess it, and hath cast out many nations before thee, the Hittites, and the Girgashites, and the Amorites, and the Canaanites, and the Perizzites, and the Hivites, and the Jebusites, seven nations greater and mightier than thou;” Notice here the 7th mentioned is the Jebusites, which is also the place known as Jerusalem. (This also speaks of the earthly Jerusalem still in bondage withherchildren) Gal. 4:25

It is said in Revelation 17:8 that this beast shall ascend out of the bottomless pit (or the grave), and we are also told in verse 10 that during John’s time 5 kings are already fallen, and one is. In Joshua we are shown a similitude of the 5 fallen kings in the pit (or cave). Joshua 10:22; “Then said Joshua, Open the mouth of the cave, and bring out those five kings unto me out of the cave. Joshua 10:23; “And they did so, and brought forth those five kings unto him out of the cave, the king of Jerusalem, the king of Hebron, the king of Jarmuth, the king of Lachish, and the king of Eglon.”


And we are also told there is a king over those of the bottomless pit, and he is also known as the destroyer shown here in Revelation 9:11; “And they had a king over them, which is the angel of the bottomless pit, whose name in the Hebrew tongue is Abaddon, but in the Greek tongue hath his name Apollyon.”

And here in Exodus we see the work of the Destroyer (spirit of death) when it smote those who were not sealed by the blood of the passover Lamb. Exodus 12:23;”For the LORD will pass through to smite the Egyptians; and when he seeth the blood upon the lintel, and on the two side posts, the LORD will pass over the door, and will not suffer the destroyer to come in unto your houses to smite you. This is the spirit of death that killed all the firstborn of man (which firstborn also speaks of those of the firstborn nature of the flesh).


This destroyer also speaks of the Devil (Dragon) that was given (the power of death) and also gives the worldly beast and his heads its power as shown here in Revelation 13:2; “And the beast which I saw was like unto a leopard, and his feet were as the feet of a bear, and his mouth as the mouth of a lion: and the dragon gave him his power, and his seat, and great authority.” And also here in Revelation 13:4; “And they worshipped the dragon which gave power unto the beast: and they worshipped the beast, saying, Who is like unto the beast? who is able to make war with him? ( god of force=man of war)

This beast nature speaks of the natural brute beast sin nature in the first nature of man. As is shown here in Ecclesiastes 3:18; “I said in mine heart concerning the estate of the sons of men, that God might manifest them, and that they might see that they themselves are beasts. And we see here those men who honor themselves, and who also are without spiritual understanding are also like beasts Psalm 49:20; “Man that is in honor, and understands not, is like the beasts that perish.”

That is how they worship the dragon (which gives power by his spirit) to deceive the Nations. This power is the power of a lie, and of sin over the hearts and minds of those whose names are not written in the Lambs book of Life. Those who believe in his lies, also live in sin, and are of the Devil (spiritually speaking) as is also shown here in John 8:44; “Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaks a lie, he speaks of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.”

And is also confirmed here in 1 John 3:8; “He that commits sin is of the devil; for the devil sins from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil. So basically everyone who lives in sin worships the beast (man’s first sin nature) and is also under the power of the Devil (spirit of a lie) which causes the world to live in sin (and death by sin). This firstborn nature is the man of sin who sets himself up (in his own heart and mind) and by his own knowledge, over that of the knowledge of God. Man has in effect made himself his own god (self-worship.)

I wanted to make that point clear before I moved on, because some might think I was only speaking of the Jews as being of their father the devil (but this spirit workinginman has nothing to do with flesh and blood lineage) but is a spirit (spirit of anti-christ) that works in many of the children of darkness.

Just as the scriptures also say the whole world lies in wickedness, and also here in these verses Psalm 68:21; “But God shall wound the head of his enemies, and the hairy scalp of such an one as goeth on still in his trespasses. This wounding of the head of God’s enemies (friend of this evil world= enemy to God) speaks of the bruising of the head of the serpent, and those that are of his seed. Genesis 3:15; “And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel.”

And we also see the head wound here in Psalm 110:6; “He shall judge among the heathen, he shall fill the places with the dead bodies; he shall wound the heads over many countries. And also here in Revelation 12:9; “And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceives the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.
This third part of the angels that were drawn away by the tail (prophet that speak lies) of the Dragon, also speaks of the third part of the sons of Israel (stars) being darkened by reason of the head wound (which also causes blindness). Which blindness Jesus also pronounced here in John 9:39
And Jesus said, For judgment I am come into this world, that they which see not might see; and that they which see might be made blind.


This head wound that came to many of the children of Israel was symbolized many times in scripture, and it speaks of the removal of the Light of understanding which comes only by faith in the Word of God. Just as when the Light of the Lord left this world darkness soon followed when the Prince of this world cast down into it. 2 Corinthians 4:4; “In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.” And if those who are born of Christ’s Spirit are also born into His image, then so also those who are of the spirit of anti-christ are also in the image of their father the Devil.
This head wound given to the children of Israel was also symbolized in Samson when the strength of his head was cut off (like many of Israel were cut off from the vine, like a branch) their eyes were then made blind. Just as Paul said in Romans 11:25; “For I would not, brethren, that ye should be ignorant of this mystery, lest ye should be wise in your own conceits; that blindness in part is happened to Israel, until the fullness of the Gentiles be come in.


This head wound happened at the parting of the Way (in the place of the skull) as was also shown in Elijah and Elisha in 2 Kings 2:3; “And the sons of the prophets that were at Bethel came forth to Elisha, and said unto him, Knowest thou that the LORD will take away thy master from thy head today? And he said, Yea, I know it; hold ye your peace. And again here in 2 Kings 2:5; “And the sons of the prophets that were at Jericho came to Elisha, and said unto him, Knowest thou that the LORD will take away thy master from thy head today? And he answered, Yea, I know it; hold ye your peace.
So who is the Master that was taken from their head that day? Jesus said in Matthew 23:10;”Neither be ye called masters: for one is your Master, even Christ. And so as Jesus was a sign given for the children of Israel (Branch being cut off) as Jesus was also a sign of the fall and rising again of many in Israel. Luke 2:34; “And Simeon blessed them, and said unto Mary his mother, Behold, this child is set for the fall and rising again of many in Israel; and for a sign which shall be spoken against;”
But when Israel shall be grafted back into their own tree, and received again by God’s Grace, it shall also be like life from the dead. Romans 11:15; “For if the casting away of them be the reconciling of the world, what shall the receiving of them be, but life from the dead?” Which is also spoken of here in Hosea 13:14; “I will ransom them from the power of the grave; I will redeem them from death: O death, I will be thy plagues; O grave, I will be thy destruction: repentance shall be hid from mine eyes.”


This also speaks of thechange, or transition of the 7th son being put off, and then becoming the 8th, as was also shown in the 8 sons of Jesse, the 7th son (David) being that one converted from the fleshy minded man did also put off the old fleshy man (go into destruction), to also become the 8th(spiritually) which is the new spiritual man in Christ . (Man after God’s own heart)
This sign of being alive, then dead, and alive again (like the head of the beast wounded to death) is also a sign shown in the Lamb of God. Revelation 1:18; “I am he that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen; and have the keys of hell and of death.


It is much like an opposite reflection of Light and dark, of good and evil, of Truth and lie, of Life and death. Just like those who worship the devil by living in sin and serving the lusts of their own fleshy desires are of the ones who spiritually make up the synagogue of Satan. (worldly beast 7 heads)
This sign was also given 7 evil spirits forecast to enter into this wicked generation shown here in Matthew 12:45; “Then goeth he, and taketh with himself seven other spirits more wicked than himself, and they enter in and dwell there: and the last state of that man is worse than the first. Even so shall it be also unto this wicked generation.” The sign is also shown here in the 7 sons (vagabond Jews) of the chief priest who were overcome by the evil spirit here in Acts 19:16; “And the man in whom the evil spirit was leaped on them, and overcame them, and prevailed against them, so that they fled out of that house naked and wounded.



But those who are born again of God’s Holy Spirit do put to death the deeds of the flesh, and are raised up a new man in Christ Jesus, who also belong to the Body of Christ (Heavenly Lamb 7 horns) and are built up unto a spiritual house in the Lord our God. (7 good spirits)
This opposite reflection is also shown in a most unholy triune in Satan (father of this world) the anti-christ beast nature working in the firstborn man (sons of their father the devil) and the false prophet (unholy spirit of a lie) which brings forth that false doctrine.
Just as there is an earthly Jerusalem (which is seen) and is the mother of the children in bondage. And then there is the heavenly Jerusalem (not seen) which is the Mother of the Free.
2 Corinthians 4:18
While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal.
