Someone donated a copy of the book "He Walked the Americas" by L. Taylor Hansen.

Anyone know anything about this book?

This Prophet who travelled from Polynesia to throughout america toteache peace and love. He was called Wakea in the many legends that apparently exist among oral tradition cultures, which supposedly means Fair God. The book connects the idea that this person is actually the serpent god of Aztec Mexico. Hansen debunks the idea that this person is a Christian missionary.

The person who lent me this book in high school was a Mormon. I have always assumed it was somehow affiliated with Mormonism. Interesting, though.

I also had a couple of friends who were mormons that told me of the belief of the mormon church that Jesus came to the America's so I wouldn't be surprised if that is what this book is about. Not sure though, I haven't actually heard of it. They did give me a video that I watched just to see what they believed and it did depict Jesus coming back to earth and ministering to the America's.

Pretty sure that it is probably Mormon, and they do belive that Jesus came to the people of America, natives. I would recomend, if your still a young believer to talk to a fellow believer who ministers to Mormons before you read it. They have akeen way of sounding biblically correct, but hey aren't, they are superiorily decieved. Howver, I am one who believes God gave us a brain, and the holy spirit, so pray while you read it. Knowledge is power to defend our faith in Christ.

It does sound mormon to me.
