Homosexuals and Sodomites

1Cor 6:9,10 "...nor homosexuals, nor sodomites... will inherit the kingdom of God."

Homosexuality is a rejection of one's God-given gender. The first word for "homosexual" in Greek is "malakos" which refers to the effeminate. The NASB translates this word "effeminate". It's also used for the word "soft" as in Mt 11:8 "A man clothed in "soft" garments" These homosexuals are "girly men". It's the stereotypical homosexual. It's the reason why they are referred to as "gay".

The other word translated sodomite in the NKJV is an "abuser of one's self with mankind", as the KJV translates it. The NASB simply translates it "homosexual". "If a man lies with a male as he lies with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination." Lev 20:13 The phrasing used in Lev 20:13 in the LXX - the Greek translation of the Old Testament used in Jesus' day - exactly mirrors the word Paul uses here. The LXX uses the phrase "αρσενος κοιτην". Paul uses "αρσενοκοιται", which as you can see just joins the two words together. Therefore he's referencing that same behavior which the Law of Moses speaks of, namely men having sex with men.

The word "sodomite" which the NKJV uses, comes from "Sodom" of which was condemned in the Old Testament for such acts. "Sodom and Gomorrah, and the cities around them in a similar manner to these, having given themselves over to sexual immorality and gone after strange flesh, are set forth as an example, suffering the vengeance of eternal fire." Jude 1:7

And concerning Lesbians and Homosexuals it is written, "Even their women exchanged natural relations for unnatural ones. In the same way the men also abandoned natural relations with women and were inflamed with lust for one another. Men committed indecent acts with other men, and received in themselves the due penalty for their perversion." Rom 1:26,27

The effeminate, homosexuals and lesbians are all hell bound.

imo it's hard to find lesbianism in the Bible. Yes, maybe it's there in Romans 1:26.

But first a person has to be sure of the "physical use" of a woman, "φυσικὴν χρῆσιν".

I don't know, to have babies? A woman who doesn't have children is sinning?

There seems to be general agreement about the meaning of "arsenokoitai":

NKJV: sodomites.
NASB20: homosexuals.
NIV11: men who have sex with men.
NRSVue: men who engage in illicit sex.
NET: practicing homosexuals.
ESV: men who practice homosexuality.
CSB: males who have sex with males.

There is agreement that "malakoi" has to do with homosexuality. But no agreement as to what it actually means:

NKJV: homosexuals.
NASB20: [untranslated]. In NASB95 it was rendered "effeminates".
NIV11: [untranslated].
NRSVue: male prostitutes.
NET: passive homosexual partners.
ESV: [untranslated].
CSB: [untranslated].

The 3 translations offered are inadequate. NKJV and NET may imply an application to lesbianism or even to celibate people with homosexual tendency. And the translation offered in NRSVue is also inadequate given that the Greek word does not imply monetary gain as in prostitution.

I was wondering the same thing. The passage in Romans is the only condemnation of lesbianism. And it can be understood to condemn different practices, instead. Perhaps lesbianism is one of these things not clearly condemned in the Bible, like slavery and abortion. But the condemnation is implied.

"The effeminate, homosexuals and lesbians are all hell bound." Whats written " Or do you not know that wrongdoers will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: Neither the sexually immoral nor idolaters nor adulterers nor men who have sex with men[a] 10 nor thieves nor the greedy nor drunkards nor slanderers nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God"

There is no "sin" that's ok or not condemned. Christ died for the sin of the world.. .He didn't come to condemn but to set free. So we get no say in this. We didn't die for man.. He did. We paid no price He did. We don't write in look in His books He does. We get no say in this. He didn't come to condemn.. we do that. When you look at any of them what do you see what do you say? Him? I love you.. I came for you died for you.... He came to set them free.. the good news. He looks out and cries...calling to them to come to Him. He said if you were blind you would have no sin.. you say you see your sin remains. Most are blind.. again PRAISE GOD we get no say in this what so ever. Well we look on the out side and judge.. Not Him He is not man nor thinks like one. He sees the heart and that heart can be 100% flip side of what we see. Why we are told we can judge but its better not to since then He WILL Judge us exactly as we are judging .. HIS not ours HIS creation.
