  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

Gal 5:19-21 "... and the like ... those who live like this will not inherit the kingdom of God."

None of the lists of the hell bound given in Rev 21:8; Gal 5:19-21; 1Cor 6:9,10; Eph 5:5 are comprehensive. But from these we get a sense of the categories of people who are going to hell. By saying, "and the like" Paul indicates that he shouldn't have to spell it out. We should be able to infer the kinds of people who are hell bound. And we make such a determination based not simply upon a snapshot of the person's behavior, but rather upon their lifestyle - their characteristic behavior.

People not only don't like it when you do so. But much of the Christian community today will even characterize people who make such judgments as Paul instructs as themselves sinning in doing so. As Jesus said to his own brothers, "The world cannot hate you, but it hates me because I testify that what it does is evil." John 7:7, so it seems one often has to respond likewise to "brethren" in the Christian community today.
