Anyone else like Hawthorne Heights. I think there lyrics are really well written.

Story time:

While on a class trip, a friend of mine named Taylor saw a group of guys that looks like a band. She thought it was a band her brother liked (can't remember the name now) but she decided to get a picture with them to show her brother. She asked if the guys were in a band, and they said yes. She asked who they were, and sure enough, they were Hawthorne Heights. I know this isn't just some tale to impress, because I've seen the photo, and it really is Hawthorne Heights.

If a band is related to and/or sounds like they could be related to Victory Records, it's not worth listening to them.

In my opinion, anyway.

Yeah I like Hawthorne Heights. Ohio Is For Lovers would prolly be their best song. But I like most of their songs (I've heard about 8). They are playing on the Warp Tour, which would be epic to go to, but can't because I am in Australia

Admittedly, I have only heard snippets of their songs, however they are a band that I would classify under "Teen Scream Scene".

it's because of lyrics like these that i'm not a big fan of emo... i listened to their cd and i thought all their songs sounded exactly the same and that the guitar was kinda weak... definately not my type of music.
