Having trouble believing.

i ned help. lateley i am questioning every single thing ever including my fatih. i am slowly falling from my way through God. here are my problems

I need proof. it woud'nt be hard. all God needs to do is show every one with VISIBLE proof that he exisits. something convincing too. it would make everyone believe. instead people drift into doubt and go down the broken path to hell

Questionable motives. we've all heard it. priests are molesting children and the pope isnt doing a thing about it. not to menion they are not only trying to cover it up, but also dircting the atention by writing an article about how they forgive the beatles for some remarks.

I seem to disagree with most beleifs that we should combine religion and state. i believe gay marriage should be allowed and that women should have rights too abrtion (only if the mothrs life is in danger or she was raped). i just think combining church and state only causes problems in the long and short run.

lastly i find it contradicting. God knows the future there for he knows who is going to hell and heaven. that means there fate is sealed. that means before you were born it is already determined who will make it tto heaven and who will not. if God wants volunteers not slaves as previously stated on this forum, then why do we get no say in the matter?

plz remember that i want to believe i just need some answers. can someone plz help?

This isnt going to be the answer you want but....

The problem you have is that you are trying to make God into your image of who you thing he should be, instead of finding out exactly who he is.

Take hold of your bible, pray, start at the beginning of Genesis and ask God to show you what he wants you to see, and then read it.

You realize you're speaking about the Roman Catholic church right? What connection do they have to Biblical Christianity? (Other than killing as many as possible I mean.)

Guess what if you're in US you're in luck. We have separation of Church and State already, and no way is abortion going to somehow become illegal. It's also a free country so you're allowed to support gay marriage and even vote that way when you're old enough and registered.

You get total say in the matter, but all you can say is "no." Any "yes" inclination IS Him.

Sorry no dice, not gonna happen, deal breaker. G-d is invisible. He kinda did that on purpose. "An evil generation wants a sign, but no sign will be given to it" except for Jesus' resurrection. Ultimately that means more than even seeing hell, I know.

Firstly the molestation issue, "Be strong, do not fear; your God will come, he will come with vengeance; with divine retribution he will come to save you.” Isaiah 25 v 4. It is Gods job to take the vengence not ours, to us he says, "Forgive as I have forgiven you". Why? because by forgiving we can release our pain and hurt to him, so that he can do the work, fight our battle for us - not easy and something I have been struggling with recently, nevertheless God says to forgive, he is my Father and knows best, who am I to argue?

There are other places like in Psalm 37 where God says, "Do not fret because of those who are evil or be envious of those who do wrong; for like the grass they will soon wither, like green plants they will soon die away."

Dont think because they are priests they are getting away with it, they wont, God is a fair judge but he will judge them, in this world or the next.

Church and state thing - this is a matter of opinion, in Britain church and state are linked, I personally have no problem with it, but my husband things that it keeps the church bound by the politicians. On this matter each to their own
