Have you noticed?

I've been noticing more and more lately that God will bring people into our lives who are doing things we ourselves are doing, and He uses those people to show us our sins.

Say for example, you have problems with gossipping. God might bring someone into your life who gossips nonstop, just to point out to you how hurtful it is.

It seems like we pay more attention to how other people act and what other people say than how we out or what we say. We're more quick to find faults in others than we're willing to examine ourselves.

God brought someone in my life who's characteristics are making me examine myself, and I see a lot of the same faults.

Anyone have that happen to them?

Well, it hasn't ever happened to me (or at least not the past several years I have been on a solid Spiritual path).
Actually, I wish God would do that.
I lead a pretty-small Life.
Only a few people are at its center.

umm. for me, i see the sins i do when i commit them, and God convicts me of it. yes, i agree, there are times when others do something wrong and i am too quick to judge them, not realising i also am guilty of the same mistake they made. good point!

Yes I agree , God is very quick to point out our faults and sins to us and He works in unusual ways using others to let us see.

I know what you mean. I often don't realize how I am acting until I meet someone whose behavior I notice is not exactly praise worthy. Then I can more closely examine myself and decide if I am living in God's word.

God is such a wonderful Father.. He loves us just the way we are..

BUT.. He loves us too much to leave us that way..

He wants us to be just like Jesus..

This is so true, I too can be quick to judge untill I take a step back, then it's like being hit in the head with a boulder.
