In Matthew 12;9-14 there is a story of a man with a withered hand whom Jesus healed. In vs 13 Jesus said, "Strech out your hand." And the man did not hesitate or argue...At the word of Jesus the man started to do the very things he thought he could not do. From being crippled, powerless and useless, that hand became whole, powerful and useful. And all this happened because in his disability, the man simply obeyed without question, the powerful word of Jesus.
Sometimes we Christians can be like that withered hand, not being able to get a grip on anything, and also finding it hard to get a grip on our Christian faith.
Is it not true that there are some Christians who have lost there grip? There heart as so to speak has become withered, they no longer hold firm to the greatness of God, or there full acceptance of Jesus, or the fact that the Holy Spirit is living within them. They seem to be no longer holding on to God in prayer and faith.
If so Jesus wants to speak to you, He wants to say "Strech out your hand." Jesus wants to give you back the power and usefulness which you have lost. He wants to speak to your heart, and tell you to begin to do the things you have been telling yourself you cannot do.
And as you begin once again to obey the word of Jesus, you will find that the power of the Holy Spirit will enable you to do the things you thought you could not.

So the question I pose to you today is, have you lost your grip?
Has your heart withered? If so Jesus wants to speak to you, He wants to say "Strech out your hand." Jesus wants to give you back the power and usefulness which you have lost. He wants to speak to your heart, and tell you to begin to do the things you have been telling yourself you cannot do.

In matthew 12;13 Jesus said "Stretch out your hand" So the man stretched out his hand, and yes he was completely restored.
Do you want to be completely restored? Then stretch your hand out to Jesus today.
God bless you.
Paul.Do you want to be completely restored? Then stretch your hand out to Jesus today.
