Have you ever "zoned out" during a routine activity?

But it's not about out of body experiences. ;)
If you want to zone out that's about as zoney <<yes, it's a word now :p, as you get.

I've zoned out in the usual way too of course. But the OB is much more interesting. Especially as it's happening and you realize, hey I'm watching myself walk across this parking lot, cool! :sorry:

Too many times i have arrived home from a routine drive and am all like 'Whoa! Did i run any lights? How did i get here?' :D
I live in daydream land.

I wish I could say this was my first time doing that. :sorry: It's so embarrassing.

I'm also famous for reading numbers backwards, even at the height of alertness. I don't think I'm dyscalculic, but for some reason I'm constantly reversing numbers when I read them to customers.
Its called transpositions - and it happens a lot if you are not taking a studied look at them.
They test for these mistakes in banks... ;)
Tricky little tests they are.

Pay attention to numbers - they can slip you up.

Well that's too bad. I arrange my cart for the most efficiency of getting in & out quickly & easily. I'm sort of weird about certain things. It was just mentioned so often it got me curious. I don't think many of us realize the lifting involved with the job.
I put heaviest items on the counter first so they can go back in the cart bagged up so the light stuff can be put on top.
Got sick of squashed bread items. :p lol

I keep the heavy stuff in the cart flipped up to scan. I take things out by category so it's just easier for everyone.
