Have you ever had a miracle?

Hi,

So I've had a couple of real life miracle stories including God saving my life three times. He's probably saved it more times than that, but there are three I know of. I think many are afraid of sharing their miracle stories because they think people won't believe them. But I believe they really give people hope. I'm working on a project to share miracle stories. Has anyone had a real, life miracle happen to them? Big or small.

I think we are exposed to miracles, more often than we think. Many of the "smaller" miracles often go unnoticed. To give a bad example (because it just happened to me today) I had to put gutter guards on a dangerous part of my roof. This is a risky job. In fact my wife wanted me to wait until tomorrow, because she was afraid the emergency rooms might not be open on a holiday. In my mind 4 parts of the job were a "miracle". First I found my old safety equipment from rock climbing right away. Now finding that may not seem like much, but I lose my coffee at least 3 time every morning and I haven't rock climbed in 30 years. Next I had only a few pieces of cut gutter guard. They just so happened to fit perfectly in the area I was doing. (Believe me this is very rare!) Next I actually fell a bit and the safety rope was a bit too long, however it happened to catch on the bumper of my truck as it was going up and saved me. Finally, after I was done I came down and noticed that there was a huge wasp nest right under the eave I was working on. I'm allergic to bee stings, but for some reason they never came out until after I was done, then they swarmed all over the place I had been at. Now many people may take this for granted and not realize that something beside blind luck was watching over me. I have had "bigger" miracles happen also, but I wanted to point out they are often present in many forms and we don't always acknowledge them.
Thank you God for all the miracles you grant us and forgive us for not being aware you are always active in our lives.

The biggest miracle in my life was being given new life in Christ. As Paul told the Christians in Ephesus:

“1 And you He made alive, who were dead in trespasses and sins.
“4 ¶ But God, who is rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us, 5 even when we were dead in trespasses, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved),” (Eph 2:1, 4-5 NKJV)

I can't think of a greater miracle than that, praise His wonderful Name!

A miracle? No. I take that word to have a very heavy weight to it.

But in the past year I have had a series of things happen to me where for the first time I felt God was involved during each event.

I don't think I would have felt him when those things happened if it weren't for a man I work with getting me to open myself to God enough to feel it. Or maybe they wouldn't have happened if he didn't help me open myself up to God more.

So I wouldn't say miracle, not even close. But I've had things happen the past year I can definitely say where I was blessed by the Lord

down to the minute details, is one big miracle.

Yes, I have had many miracles as well. Just the fact that I made it through my teenage years was a miracle for me. Did some crazy stuff. In 1981, shortly after I got saved, two ladies from the church I was attending prayed for me to help me quit smoking. We went to dinner after church and I had NO desire to have a cigarette after I ate! The cravings were completely gone! I smoked up to 2 packs a day and smoked for 14 years. Over the years, I tried to quit many times, but always went back to it. I thought for sure when I got home that night, with my mother-in-law, who lived with us, her smoking would make me want to go back, but just the opposite happened. Her smoking was actually disgusting to me. I never went back. PTL!!!

Has anyone had a real, life miracle happen to them? Big or small.

My biggest Miracle was on February 16th 2016 where I were flown by helicopter to Hospital to undergo an emergency triple A heart operation. I would have been dead if it hadn't have been for;

1. My husband finishing early from work that day.
2. The first response team who were at a local rugby match that day, who came up to the house & called the helicopter.
3. The surgeon who had just finished a 12 hour shift stayed on to operate on me.

The surgeon who performed my operation sadly died not long after.

On average the survival rate for people undergoing an emergecy tripple A heart operation is 1 in a 100, even the doctors & nurses were amazed at my survival.

I thank God every day for being alive to tell.
