Have you ever found your self reaching new levels with God. Sinning very little if at all, fasting, prayers, studying the word, everything about the word, and the better you get the enemy opens a flood gate and sends his children after you and you find your self surrounded by children of satan, wolves in sheep clothing and they tell you things like your sinning while, while they sin against you.
These wolves in sheep clothing claim to follow The Way, yet all they do is lead you away from The path of light, and the harder you try to do Good the more evil comes your way. Has that ever happen to you? Does it happen every single time you find your self come close to living as Jesus commanded, Holy?
There is something that is true in Jesus day that is true today. The closer you get to living like Jesus the closer you get to death in this world because if you actually do reach the goal and live like the prophets, As sure as they murder our King they will murder you. The world simply will not let you live Holy. They will hate you and kill you. They hated our king, they killed our king, why should it be different for us. Should we expect different treatment? What is true with Jesus is the grave could not hold him. He arose from the grave, and that is true for us our bodies might die, but our spirit the Lord has claim we will go to be with Him.
I don't think people who are not a Christian ever really think how hard it is to be a Christian. You must be willing to die. That is the truth, because the more you love God, the more the world will hate you. Many people say things like it is easy to be a Christian. They say you believe in a magical place where you will live for ever, you believe your God loves you and is always with you, what is not to like. I ask so why don't they follow Jesus then. They say I want to be real. The truth is there is a price for eternity with God in bliss. The price Jesus paid. The price we pay, being Hated by those we love, making enemies of our family and friends. Being hated by the world. With drawing from the world and worldly things. Being ready to lay down our life at Gods command. We lose are life in this world when we become a Christian, and we take it up again with God in eternity. I think that is the reason people don't follow Jesus. If it was easy everyone would do it right?
So have you ever found your self hated among the world? Have you ever found your enemies are your own family? Have you ever lost friend because of your faith in God? Have you ever found your self fighting your desires while your friends and family drown their self in theirs?
