Relationships before our divorces were difficult enough. We can carry alot of baggage just from growing up in the homes we were raised in or not raised in. Many times the reasons for our divorces are found in the baggage we brought with us. The main baggage we need to deal with is the one of "identity." We may have come into our first marriages hoping our spouse would help define us or maybe support who we thought we were, but really never discovering who we were.
As a christian, God's word tells us we are a "new creation", the old things are passed away, behold "new" things have come. Have we figured out what this new identity is and what difference it makes?
