We mad ea commitment to study the Bible, and we signed up for the Bible in a Year program. This will hopefully enhance our spiritual growth as well as be a challenge to those in my mind who have not yet come to Christ.

Great news! Will you be discussing it with others as well? Reading the whole Bible in a year is a pretty big commitment. It can become difficult if you don't talk about what you've read and hear about the context behind some of it (especially the Old Testament).

Carol, good luck! I couldn't make it through in a year. 3 chapters a day just isn't enough, and I got through in more like 8 months

Hopefully your program has you moving through the Bible sensibly, and not just reading straight through, Gen - Rev?

One thing I would like to do someday is read the OT in chronological order; I hear there are Bible versions that lay it out that way ...
