CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

First of all, what do you think was as sin? Its hard to tell what exactly you think you have done wrong. I think we need a little more context here, because lots of people call the holy spirit, the holy ghost. But I am guessing there is more to it than what you have written.
Secondly, I don't believe in unpardonable sin in the way you are reffering. I cant go into alot of detail here but I believe the unpardonable sin the bible reffers to can only be truely commited by a non-christian.
I'd love to hear what others have to say though.

You're fine bro - you have done no such thing as commit the unpardonable sin. If you did, you'd feel no guilt, and you'd walk away from God without a care in the world. The mere fact that you are concerned about what you have done is proof that you have not lost the Holy Spirit. The fact that you still believe in Jesus Christ as your Lord and saviour is proof that the Holy Spirit still loves you like only God can. So, cheer up - you have a wonderful eternal future to look forward to. PM me if you like - I'll give you biblical proof that you have not commited the unpardonable sin.

"Therefore I say to you, every sin and blasphemy will be forgiven men, but the blasphemy against the Spirit will not be forgiven men."
This is the unpardonable sin, not calling the Holy Spirit the Holy Ghost. In earthly terms or scientific terms "Conscious" -you know the thing that tells you right from wrong. Strange that we never learn about this in school and follows us from the time we started developing memories...that is the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit in terms of senses is the most physical evidence we have that God exist. God is the one who is telling you don't do that! That is a bad idea, you are going to get in trouble. Without words or destroying the idea of faith in his abilities, he can still talk to you. That is why a blashemy against the holy spirit is so serious...in terms today its like hanging up the phone on God, avoiding any letters, and avoiding him all together.

Wow, this was definitely a reassuring topic to read, sometimes as such a concentrated and devoted Christian, I forget about the most obvious things. The simple phrase "As long as you feel guilt, you have not lost touch with Father" is very reassuring.
