There really is nothing that we can do FOR you other than pray for you. The fire cannot be relit by us, you need to do it yourself. There are plenty of ways to not be bored with Christianity. Find a group of Christians like you, similar interests, and talk to them

If I may, your whole post is filled with the theology of glory where people look to themselves and their feeling and other people as the proof that they are Christians and such.

I would suggest instead that the theology of the cross is much more substantial. Jesus died on the cross for your sins whether your not you fell like going to church on Sunday. The foundation of your relationship isn't how you feel and what you do for Jesus, it is how he loves you and what he did for you.

Have you done anything that his blood is not sufficient for? No, not a thing. That's true whether or not you feel like it right now.

I would suggest reading a little about this. It's very freeing once you come to understand it.

I'm very sad to read that. I think you are becoming too involved with the world. You need to remember the reasons why we're all here and you also need to remember that Satan is constantly trying to separate you from the Lord, and look, he is accomplishing just that. Why would you give your life back to this world? Why would you turn away from such a wonderful gift? I suggest you start reading scripture and start asking yourself important questions such as what is more important, the world or our Lord.

All I can tell you is that as long as you are saying that, you will be okay. I know it may not seem that way, but I have been there. I experience a LONG falling out, similar to what you are going through. But God IS FAITHFUL! He is still with you, still loves you, and still wants nothing more than to hold you in His arms and whisper in you ear, 'My child, my child. Shhh... it's going to be okay.' If you miss Him, tell Him, and take the chance to curl up in His arms. Trust me, it does the spirit good.

P.S.- You're in my prayers. Whether you feel like it at times or not, you are not alone.

Unfortunately, many ministers (pastors, priests, etc) minister out of their belly until they have nothing for others or themselves. Ministers need to be filled and only minister out of overflow. Of course, this applies to every Christian who has a ministry of any type.

In your case, you've given until you have absolutely depleted everything except a spark...

In any case, may the LORD bless and keep you.

And this can happen by not REFILLING in the Lord and serving in God's will. His burden is Light.

I don't know what the real situation is, it's between him & the Lord.
But I do agree with Premed for Christ that if he's claiming he MISSES the Lord, then it sounds like he may be saved and in a seriously backslidden condition that God can turn around eventually.

I know that I've experienced a dry spiritual time that lasted awhile & I felt far away from the Lord.
It DOES happen to us if we aren't careful - we have to be on guard spiritually & stop things EARLY when we notice them.

I think that deep down inside, you probably do miss a relationship with God, we all do when we're backsliding. Just take yourself back to the place you were when you first received Him. You will always have a longing for Him and its not easy. But staying focused is the key. You have to know who you are, not who you want to be. I like to write a letter or poem to God, asking him for direction, crying to him, letting him know my true heart, not just what the world may see.

I think if one is conscious of the fires out, then one must be close enough to see and feel that. It is just a matter of fanning the embers. Fires do sometimes look like they are done the next morning but throw on a piece of paper (scripture) and there it is going again. I think when one is not even worrying about it, there is a good chance that it never was a fire, more like a phantom pregnancy...hey?

So maby i can start this off by saying i tryed to think of an exuse for falling but i do have to say i feal no remorse for what ive done.
I am happy to sleep in on Sundays and spend more time with my family and lets not forget saying curse words when i want to .
Maby i kinda care that i am not involved in Church anymore and thats why i am writing this but maby its bordom from being at work with nothing to do for another 7 hours.
I was once an Asst Pastor and a Minister to hundreds of homeless and even planed on becoming a Pastor for life but i am what i am.
I dont pray at all anymore i curse him more than praise him I have not lost a loved one or had anything BIG or live changing happen.
There was a Person BEFORE that wanted me to turn to Christ that even tho I told Him that I would hurt him if He did not stop talking to me about Christ i would hurt him he never gave up on me.
I dont see that anymore in anyone that was the only Christian i knew that would stand aganist evil like that and when i became a Christian i was the same way but know like ive said its not my way anymore I think that if Adam and Eve's SIN was passed on to use tho we did no wrong why should we suffer and why would a man named Jesus our God in the flesh have to die for us (MISTAKE HE MADE MABY ????)
So if you have a kind word id love to hear it if not i care none but sometimes i miss my personal relationship with Christ...........

So you enjoy your sin then? This statement is proof that you probably were not saved to begin with. For a soundly saved Christian feels remorse and is driven to repetance when they sin against God.

How about doing your job? That is what they pay you for isn't it? You do realize you're stealing right now, right? Your employer is paying you to work and here you are on the internet "killing time".

That's a good person. It's clear from your statements that you're in rebellion against God and you don't even know why. That's very sad.

You didn't inherit the sin of Adam and Eve, you inherited their sinful nature. Everything you have stated here attests to that sinful nature. You are acting according to your nature. The things you are doing are in opposition to God, therefore sinful. A sin is an act committed that violates God's moral law. His moral law are the 10 Commandments. Take yourself through them and see if you have kept each one, if you have not you have a serious sin problem on your hands.

Since God is a just judge He must punish those who have broken His laws, that's only fair. He woudln't be just if He didn't punish law breakers, just like a judge in our country wouldn't be just if he didn't uphold the laws and punish crimminals who break them. The Bible says that the wages of sin is death. So by sinning you have earned death. But God loved you so much that He sent His son to die in your place, to take the penalty your actions have earned you. That's called grace. Someone is going to pay the fine for your crimes, you can take the solution God offers in Christ through grace, or you can pay the fine yourself. If you do pay the fine yourself, that means Hell when you die. Where you spend eternity is entirely up to you.

Kind words are not what you need right now. You need a good swift kick in the spiritual pants. I hope I just gave you one.
