ever had to lose a family member cause of your Faith in Christ? This just happen to me. I lost my aunt cause I cant agree with her being gay. I try to but it hurt my walk with God cause I always felt like I had to edit myself. But today my wife and I decided to redecited our lifes to the Lord and take a month long class at our church for restarting. I cant be ashamed anymore for being a Christian.

Yes, I know. But be of good cheer, and continue to promote our Lord Jesus Christ. Your aunt knows you are right. And if you let your light shine before her, and, if you continue to pray that the Holy Spirit saves her, she will possibly give her life to Christ. Yesterday I attended the baptism of a nephew who was very antichrist for years. He wanted to continue in his sin. But,for several years, I just continued to just ask our Father to save him. So our job is to pray for our loved ones. Our Father does the saving.

Gays are not the only ones like this. If people trust in Jesus and obey Him > "you will find rest for your souls" (in Matthew 11:29).

In His own love in us is His own righteousness with His own right way of being, in rest for our souls.

"'Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.'" (Matthew 11:28-29)

So, one trick is how we can get so busy with looking at wrong people and not notice how we ourselves really are doing with Jesus, or not exactly.

What happens is when the Light of the Word comes, we see sin for what our Father says it is. Because we don't want to focus on our own sin, we tend to look harder at the sin in others. What is wrong with that is we look with condemnation at people who have not yet been born again. Everyone born into this Earth is born with the sin nature that they keep until they are born again.So we are all born sinners. We don't have to do anything to become a sinner. (No thanks to Adam). So sinners sin. It is not right for us to condemn them for doing what they do. But we should speak the truth of the Gospel to them in a non-judgmental way. Just like the Apostle Paul did in the book of acts.

You don't see liars forming associations to further the progress of lying as a way of life (except for Congress, of course). When you tell them that they are sinners for what they do, they tell you that it is not a sin because "they were born that way".

How do you speak the truth of the Gospel to a person who has justified their own sin? You don't see adulterers holding Pride Marches. You don't see thieves inventing their own flag to rally around. You don't see liars forming associations to further the progress of lying as a way of life (except for Congress, of course). When you tell them that they are sinners for what they do, they tell you that it is not a sin because "they were born that way".

Well, we are born sinners. The first step is to understand that, then repent, and then to "Go and sin no more."

Your conclusion is right on correct. We are born sinners, and sinners sin. It is only through being born again that our sin nature is put to death and our spiritual self is regenerated. There is no way a sinner can go and sin no more without being born of the Spirit. But, if we speak the Good News of the Gospel to sinners, we can trust that our Father will prosper His word. He said in Isaiah...
Isaiah 55:11
So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.

That is a promise. And our Father keeps His word. Speak the truth in love, for Jesus died to save all of mankind,first for the Jew, then for the gentile.

IMHO that is harder then it seems when so many take it as judgement. I used to be that even as a Christian. Now I realize I was wrong and that was why I took it that way my own guilt

Maybe the only real way is prayer. We have to face the fact that some will never come to our Lord sadly. They would rather have sin then God

Ben, I have a similar circumstance with my brother-in-law. He has read my books and taken offense to some of the content as it relates to his current behavior. I have assured him more than once that my intention is never to offend the reader, but to educate them and guide them to the truth. This truth is not my own, but "facts" from the scriptures given to us by our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. I continue to pray for him and we simply agree to disagree on certain subjects. He continues to distance himself from my wife and I, but I still have hope that the truth will find him and set him free. Bless you friend.

Yes you are right. Look at the first sin in the Garden of Eden. We see the first
humans after they sinned experience guilt, shame,and betrayal. The man blamed the woman. The woman blamed the serpent. Ther serpent...well, the serpent didn't have a leg to stand on.(joke)

Maybe the only real way is prayer. We have to face the fact that some will never come to our Lord sadly. They would rather have sin then God

That is the cold, hard truth. To be honest, I don't care what they do. It is between them and God. But some people who insist that others conform to their beliefs come into churches to spread trouble and not to find God. They might think they are searching for Jesus, but they search for a Jesus of their own creation.
