CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I can sometimes smell my late husband too. Just out of the clear blue, I can smell him. At first it bothered me, but as the years have gone by, it's more comforting. It's his way of letting me know that he's with me.
I'm sorry for your loss. My late husband died more than 20 years ago. It's still hard. I wish I could tell you all that it gets easier, but for some it doesn't. Life goes on, and we learn to cope, but it doesn't get any easier. Not for everyone. Not for me.
The only thing that gets me through is knowing that with each passing day it brings me one step closer to him. One day down...one day closer. One day down....one day closer. That's how I live my life.

well at lest I know i'm not going crazy and it makes it a lot easier to cope with shes not gone just waiting for me and I look forward to being with her again
