I just went to TheologyOnline today,
and found its account suspended.

Is this a political attack?

I was expecting eventually that many Christian forums and websites
would be picked off one by one, starting with the more controversial ones.

I don't think they were big enough to own their own servers,
so maybe some lawyers or government people put the pressure on.

anyone have any insider news?

If that happens to any website, it means the hosting agreement has expired without being renewed, or the operator of the website violated its Terms of Service agreement with the hosting service. You'll have to wait for an explanation.

They often have controversial threads on controversial subjects.
It doesn't mean they agree with every poster or position argued.

But they do believe in a reasonable interpretation of free speech,
within boundaries of law and good taste (not always).

I doubt they were suspended over a thread on the Holocaust,
since they regularly have Jews and atheists and agnostics and Evolutionists
post there and duke it out over all kinds of issues.

Not sure. I'll be pleased if it is though... Amongst the copious amounts of Obama haters that put ours to shame, there are some of the worst and psychologically unsound people I've ever met on there.

I'm never pleased when free speech outlets are diminished.

Obama haters? That would group them with half the planet, given USA's popularity.

Strange barometer for measuring legitimacy or psychological unsoundness.

Thank God Christianity isn't based on nor does it give credence to psychology theories.

One other question:
If people who are psychologically unsound aren't conveniently located and
easy to monitor by their attraction to a certain place of tolerance,
how will you ever keep track of them?

Your desire to see TOL vanish seems to have overwhelmed your common sense.
