The New Testament way to worship is not on a particular day but everyday in spirit. John 4:23,24.Robert43 said:Hi, People tell me that today the worship day has changed because of the new testament. When people say not to work on Saturday they talking about the Jewish old law and not the Christian new Laws. I have talked to many Christians and they all said they work on Sunday and Saturday and think nothing is wrong about it. Myself I don't work on Sunday.
What do you have to say about this?

To worship God is to kiss Him.
I would prefer that my wife kiss me everyday, not just on legal holydays.

This article knows nothing about what those verses mean within a Jewish context. Romans and Colossians had to do with holiday calculation, definitions of work, and mew moon sightings to determine the start of new months where Galatians dealt with Rabbinicism, not the Torah! However, the New Testament makes it clear that the observance of a particular day was not imposed as a binding obligation. Romans 14:5-6 makes it clear that there was some freedom in the matter of special days. Colossians 2:16-17 commanded the church not to allow anyone to act as their judge in regard to sabbath days. And Galatians 4:9-10 warns against going back under the Law by insisting on the legal requirement of special days.
You say the Sabbath remains the 7th day, then why keep Sunday?Oblio said:Who are these some ?
The Church as witnessed by Scripture and the Holy Fathers celebrates the Resurrection on Sunday. The Sabbath remains the 7th day.
There's an eigth day?! The Bible says Jesus rose on the first day, not eigth.Oblio said:The principal day has changed to the eighth day to celebrate the feast of the Resurrection.
Christmas is traditionally considered a holyday by many, because it's the day believed to be Christ's birthday.Oblio said:* Oblio venerates* his Icon of Christ
What legal holydays![]()
are you speaking of ?? I wasn't aware of many in this country (USA) ...
* - understand that veneration passes to the prototype of that which is depicted
You and anyone can worship God on any day you like.revrobor said:The day of worship is listed below:

God only ever made one day of the week holy. That was the 7th day which is the Sabbath, Saturday.
It was the 7th day that He has told everyone to "Remember...."
RonBa said:"Has the day of Worship changed at all?"
Not according to God's Word
Amen, some honesty would be handy.I second this one! You would expect more honesty, wouldn't you. Roman Catholics take responsibility and the Encyclopedeas also tell us of the infamous edict of Emperor Constantine substituting the genuine with a counterfeit!
Dance
That is the question here.Has the day of Worship changed at all?
Do you think that God is concerned about the other 9 commandments as well?Holly3278 said:I don't honestly think God cares what day we meet to worship as long as we do so on at least one day of the week. For most, it is Sunday. For people like my bf, it is Saturday. But honestly, I think that God is happy as long as we meet to worship on at least one day of the week. But then again, I personally feel that one can lead a good and fulfilling spiritual life without ever going to a church although church is beneficial.
