Again... those scriptures were not written to me or to anyone living today except for their LEARNing the difference between the plans of God for his chosen people and those living in this age. Israel is LO-AMI... not my people. We should not try to live under their program. It is as impossible for us as it was for them.

I want to respond to your comments and ' jimmyjimmy's' collectively.
I previously wrote on this topic that when God actually calls (Compels) a person to Jesus and salvation he will always be chosen- 100% percent of the time. It is predestined and known by God even when they use their so-called 'free-will.'. They are predestined to be chosen.

Now this is different from what I believe both of you meant ans especially hearing you quote Matthew 22 1-14
This is the parable of how the Israelites/Judahites/Judeans and those that knew God rejected him because they rejected his son; even wanted to kill Jesus and his servants. God opened the doors wide open then for all to partake of the bounty in Jesus and God, whether they knew him or not, regardless of the amount of sinfulness in their hearts.
Now Jesus also wanted to point out that because you have heard the words of the gospel by human servants of God AND NOT firom God himself you still have to really believe in Jesus else you will be rejected as a fraud. This goes to my other writing in another forum regarding Calvinism on my point of the 'P' Perseverance of the Saints, of what it means to truly believe in Jesus and thus God for this belief to be consistent with scripture.
Notice in Matthew 22 Jesus never suggesed that his Father personally called them to Jesus. It was an open invitation to all, to all believe and given by his servants.

BL: When God calls (compels) that person here is ALWAYS chosen. When his servant make the call some or few are chosen. as in Matt 22:14. Because their heart is not in the right condition, and God always know a person's heart before-hand and in the future. God calling men to himself is not the same as a Christian telling someone the gospel and convincing them to believe in it.
The parable of the seed (gospel and spirit) falling on different terrains (heart conditions) compliment Matt 22:14 EXACTLY.

We know that God calls men, but has He called every man, without exception?
God calls every man without exception...

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made. In Him was life, and the life was the light of men. And the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not comprehend it. There was a man sent from God, whose name was John. This man came for a witness, to bear witness of the Light, that all through him might believe. He was not that Light, but was sent to bear witness of that Light. That was the true Light which gives light to every man coming into the world.

Truly, these times of ignorance God overlooked, but now commands all men everywhere to repent, because He has appointed a day on which He will judge the world in righteousness by the Man whom He has ordained. He has given assurance of this to all by raising Him from the dead.” Acts 17:30-31

What does Calvinism have to do with OP's question?

If you are referring to the topic forum subject then it has everything to do with it. And I'm not sure why you call my response Calvinistic. I do not really know what a Calvinist is really meant to believe in. It must be just a coincidence and you assumed this was the view I was taking. Well I really was not.....
Anyway, saying" Has God called every person" is a very vague statement to me, maybe cleverly presented to provoke an open discussion.
Do you have an opinion then based on scripture, what, 'the calling by God for salvation and the preaching of the gospel by his servants means?' It is not so simple, are they the same, are they different, are both critical for true and continual salvation?
Bless you

Hebrews 11 tells us clearly how becoming right with God in the OT was possible through faith.

The OT Hall of Fame is in this chapter.

I find Enoch interesting. Genesis 5:24

I find Luke 16:19-31 interesting.

Was Abraham in paradise when Christ went to paradise before God raised Him?

We also have Matthew 17:3

Elijah and Moses with Jesus.

BTW I love the rosella Avatar

The 12 (yes) were sent to the Jews of Israel. "Go NOT into the way of the Gentiles..." Matt. 10:5

I asked: Can a man be saved without hearing/reading the gospel?

You relied: "Yes"

I asked: I wonder why Jesus sent out the 11? Hmmm.

Firstly, it was 11: "Then the eleven disciples went to Galilee, to the mountain where Jesus had told them to go. . ."

Secondly, why did He send out the 11 if men are saved without having to hear the gospel. They could have stayed home and binge watched watched Breaking Bad.
