In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Has FedEx ever lost your parcel?

I'm in a fight with FedEx over lost parcels. Anyone else experience this. How did it turn out?
I'm not sure about UPS or FedEX, but USPS scans each package giving it a GPS location stamp. So they can verify the address of where they delivered it.

I have had UPS loose several parcels in the last year. I ship UPS and receive Fedex at work daily. UPS has lost several, but so far they eventually turn up. Usually they miss a scan or two somewhere and keep heading towards the destination. Eventually the last driver scans it at delivery. Now, Fedex has a habit of leaving packages in my warehouse without letting me know, saying that the business next door signed for it - but they closed years ago (the name is still on the sign).

I talked (live chat) with a FedEx rep about this. He told me to go find my own package, and, that they were too busy to be bothered with it. Another rep told me to file a claim.

Filing a claim is the correct course of action. Call them on the phone instead of live chatting, it is easier to deal with a live person than a chat, and usually you will have results quicker. I have made claims with UPS, the process is fairly simple - packages get stolen and/or lost all the time, they have a process to resolve this.

Do you have a number I can call to reach a live person?
Not really, I have only dealt with UPS for lost packages. I would start with their main customer service and see what they can do: 800-463-3339

The company from which I ordered my product called UPS one time when my package was lost. Turns out it was delivered to my family's neighbor--who kept the package. The UPS guy was told to come back to the address and retrieve the package, which he did.
